Short answer

How do I see someone's Instagram follower count?

It's on their profile next to Posts and Following, rounded for big accounts (8.7M). Instagram asks you to log in after a few profiles on the web. With Puley connected, ChatGPT or Claude reads the public profile for you, with the exact count and how recent posts did.

How to

Two ways to check Instagram followers

The free way works. The Puley way is one message, on any device, and you can ask about the result.

In Instagram

Free, rounded, asks you to log in

  1. Open the profile in the app or on instagram.com.
  2. Followers sits next to Posts and Following, rounded for big accounts.
  3. On the web, Instagram asks you to log in after a few profiles.

With Puley

In ChatGPT or Claude

  1. Ask: “How many Instagram followers does @gymshark have?”
  2. Puley reads the public profile and its recent posts.
  3. Ask follow-ups, or say “track this weekly.”
Why it matters

Why ChatGPT can't check Instagram

Instagram lets a short list of named services read its pages and asks everyone else, ChatGPT and Claude included, to stay out. So your AI either refuses or answers from old memory.
Puley reads the public profile the way a visitor sees it and hands your AI the current numbers.

Questions

Instagram follower counts: questions

Does it work on private accounts?

It reads the follower count a private profile shows, but not its posts.

Why are some likes missing?

Instagram lets people hide like counts on their posts. When they do, nobody can see them, Puley included.

Can I see who follows an account?

No. Puley reads counts and public posts, not lists of people.

How often can it check?

Whenever you ask, and weekly in your Monday report. Plus can watch for milestones every few hours.
